History

Stettin is a large suburban Township, with a population of 2500 located along State Highway 29, having easy access to all main roads and Highways in Central Wisconsin. The Town is composed of private residences and developments, agricultural land, and some smaller businesses, with 72 miles of public roads maintained by Town staff.  We are conveniently located to shopping centers, Rib Mountain State Park, art galleries, less than 10 minutes from the City of Wausau downtown, and are adjacent to the Village of Marathon.
