ALL VOTERS IN THE TOWN OF STETTIN WARDS 3 & 4 WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY VOTED AT THE STETTIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WILL NOW VOTE AT 7255 STEWART AVE. THE STETTIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE AS A POLLING STATION

Type E Notice – Absentee Voting for February 21, 2017 Spring Primary Election

Qualifications: 
  1.  Must be registered voter in Town of Stettin
  2.  Must live in the Town of Stettin for 10 Days prior to election.

Procedure for Obtaining Absentee Ballot via mail:

  1.  Go to https://myvote.wi.gov (if you do not have internet, call (715) 571-1480)
  • Click on Regular voter, and enter your name and birthdate
  • Your name will appear, click on your name
  • Then click on Request an Absentee Ballot
  • Complete form GAB-121

Mail or e-mail (TownofStettin.WI@gmail.com) completed form (1370 N 77th Ave Wausau WI  54401).

  • Absentee ballots cannot be mailed without a completed GAB-121 form and proof of identification. The deadline for making application to receive an absentee ballot by mail is: 5pm, Thursday February 16, 2017
  1. Your completed Absentee Ballot must be received at the polling location no later than February 21, 2017 by 8pm.
Hours for Voting Absentee in person:

Monday through Friday noon to 3pm
February 6-17, until 3pm

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY – Please call Clerk Marlo Turner at 715-571-1480 to make an appointment

All absentee ballot BY MAIL applications must be received by Thursday February 16, 2017

There are 2 Voting locations:

Wards 1 and 2 residents vote at the Town Hall, at the junction of Stettin Drive and 120th Avenue

Wards 3 and 4 residents vote at the Marathon County Sheriff Building, 7255 Stewart Avenue, at the corner of Stewart Avenue and 72nd Avenue
