The annual meeting of the residents of the Town of Stettin, will be held at the Stettin Town Hall, 12004 Stettin Dr, Marathon WI  54448, April 18, 2017 at 7:30pm. The purpose of this meeting is to provide a means for the electors of the town to exercise their statuatory authority over governance of the Town.

May 9, 2016 REQUEST FOR BIDS LRIP Project Highland Dr (from County Road O east to Wausau City Limits)

REQUEST FOR BIDS

TOWN OF STETTIN LRIP PROJECT

The Town of Stettin, Marathon County, Wisconsin is accepting bids for a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) project on Highland Drive (from Co Rd O east to City of Wausau city limits – 5,685’ x 22’).

Scope of Work

 

This work consists of pulverizing the existing asphalt. Rough grade and compact the pulverized material using a sheeps-foot roller. The Town will furnish and install additional base course material over the roadway. Fine grade roadway and pave with hot mix asphalt compacted to an average thickness of 3 inches, in two lifts. Install a 1 foot lip curb on the east side of the project on the south side of the roadway for 1180 feet and along the north side of the roadway for 150 feet. Pave the ditch approximately 4 feet wide for 600 feet on the north side of the roadway from the top of the hill to the residential driveway on the northeast side of the road, including 2 flumes. Contractor will supply all traffic control during their operations. Town will be responsible for shouldering and installing low shoulder signs after paving is done, until shouldering work is completed.

Sealed, labeled bids will be accepted until 5:00 pm on May 9, 2016 at Town of Stettin, 12004 Stettin Drive, Marathon, WI 54448. Bids will be opened at 7:00 pm on May 9. You may contact Raynard Zunker at 715-551-9901 for additional information.
